What You’re Funding
-
Hive Goals
As we wrap up the 2025 season, we’re preparing to expand our apiary with the goal of maintaining at least 20 healthy hives going into next winter. To make this possible, we rely on funding to purchase bees from reputable sources who care deeply for their colonies and manage them with a watchful eye.
Looking ahead, our vision is to become self-sustaining by 2027 through our own queen-rearing program and responsible hive splitting. Your support today helps us grow a strong, thriving apiary that will continue to provide healthy bees for years to come.
-
Woodenware
As our apiary grows, so does the need for new homes for our bees. Each hive requires carefully crafted woodenware—boxes, frames, and covers—that provide the foundation for healthy colonies. These aren’t just boxes; they are the bees’ shelter, food storage, and nursery all in one.
A complete hive setup, with all components included, can cost anywhere from $130 to $200. Your donation helps us purchase the essential woodenware needed to house and protect our expanding bee population. With your support, we can ensure every colony has a safe, sturdy, and sustainable home to thrive in for seasons to come.
-
Bee Feed
In the early spring and late fall, natural nectar sources are scarce, leaving bees vulnerable during what beekeepers call a “dearth”—a period when flowers aren’t blooming and food is limited. To keep our colonies strong through these challenging times, we provide supplemental feed in the form of sugar water and supplemental pollen, which mimics the food they would naturally gather.
Your donation ensures that our bees have the nutrition they need to survive dearths, build up their strength, and thrive throughout the year. By helping us provide feed when nature can’t, you’re directly supporting the health and resilience of our hives

Processing Equipment
As our apiary expands, so does the need for proper processing equipment. Extracting and bottling honey, as well as collecting beeswax, requires specialized tools that allow us to work efficiently while preserving the purity of every drop and every ounce.
With the right equipment, we can continue to provide our community with handmade, natural products and supply our wholesale partners who share our commitment to offering truly natural goods. Your support helps us invest in this essential equipment so we can bring more sustainable, high-quality honey and beeswax products from our hives to your hands.
